Java EE 6 & GlassFish v3

Before the summer break, Alexis Moussine-Pouchkine comes to present Java EE 6 & GlassFish v3.

Java EE 6 is far from being a simple refresh of a technology that some find aging. With major improvements to EJB, JPA, servlet, and JSF, with the arrival of unified injection with CDI, the addition of JAX-RS and the arrival of BeanValidation, it becomes almost unnecessary to add external libraries.

With complete support for Java EE 6, developer-oriented features, multiple administration tools, an embedded mode, modularity based on OSGi... The list of GlassFish 3 features sounds like the promises of other application servers. It’s up to you to see how all this is usable for you, starting today.

This presentation will therefore include a good portion of the new features of the Java EE 6 platform, demonstrations, and a roadmap for the future of the GlassFish project (3.1 and beyond).
