Java Applications: Reverse Engineering and Hacking
Security is one of the elements that should be taken into account when designing and implementing information systems. Yet the world of security and that of development rarely meet, and when they do, it’s not always a pleasure.
Sébastien therefore proposes a small journey into the world of hacking Java and Android applications. He will take two applications from the market (an MDM and an e-commerce application) and show us “live” how to attack these systems, extract their secrets and those of users, intercept communications with web services and divert them for the attacker’s benefit. All with the same tools and methods as hackers.
