The new generation of the Spring Framework is arriving this summer (and is already available in Milestone version).
On the agenda are updates, new features, and most importantly the arrival of reactive applications in the Spring ecosystem. During this evening, we’ll discuss the reactive foundations of Spring Framework together, including the Reactor project and the Reactive Streams specification - a good way to get an idea of the reactive trend on the JVM. We’ll then talk about Spring’s new web framework, “WebFlux”, which breaks free from Servlet and allows you to create reactive web applications with 2 programming models: annotation-based like Spring MVC, or functional.
Kotlin support is an important theme for this release, and we won’t fail to share it with you. Come with all your questions about Spring, we’ll be there to discuss them!
